This EPSRC funded grant was set up to study the origin of the statistical phenomenon known as Long-Range Dependence (LRD) in telecomms traffic. The grant was held jointly between the Networks and Nonlinear Dynamics Group at the University of York and the Mathematics Research Centre at Queen Mary, University of London. Industrial input and expertise is provided by BT.
